Strange News: Riot Cops Called to Kids Football Game

Cops decked out in riot gear were called out when a football game between youths went south in Chino, California, Saturday. The San Bernadino Sun reports the fight broke out between dozens of parents during the game, and the police came ready.
"[W]hen you get a call of a fight between two and three hundred people, you want to be protected," police Sgt. Frank Mena told the paper.
Most of the fighters fled when the cops showed up, and no arrests or serious injuries were reported.
