1964 - The governor of Indiana asked the radio stations of his state to stop playing the Kingsmen classic “Louie Louie” after declaring the song to be pornographic.

1977 - Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant contracted tonsillitis, which forced the band to postpone their North American tour. The rescheduled dates were shifted to June, and would mark the legendary rock band’s last American concerts.
