Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are hitting the road.  The veteran rockers have announced a six-week spring and early summer tour that'll take them to nine states, plus a single Canadian date, from May 16 through June 29.

The dates include week-long residencies at New York's Beacon Theatre and the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, plus appearances at Alabama's Hangout Music Festival, the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware, and Bonnaroo.
