(NEW YORK) -- Tamar Braxton is expecting her first child with husband Vince Herbert.

“I have a love on top.  I’m pregnant!” the Braxton Family Values star told Good Morning America’s Lara Spencer Wednesday.  Braxton was making a reference to Beyoncé’s pregnancy revelation at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2011 where she sang her hit single of the same name.

Braxton, 35, said that there is not a long wait for the baby’s arrival.

“I don’t have that many months to go,” Braxton said. “Almost there.”

When asked how she felt, Braxton told Spencer that she felt well. “I feel great and greedy at the same time.”

“She’s my eating partner right now,” the “Love and War” singer said of her mother, Evelyn Braxton.  While her mother said she eats healthy, Tamar Braxton jokingly responded that she doesn’t.

While showing off her baby bump in a fitted white dress, the mother-to-be said that this is the most she has ever eaten.

The Braxton family is also eagerly awaiting the premiere episode of the new season of Braxton Family Values, which will air on Thursday night on WeTV.
